Contact about privacy
This notice covers the LuxVision website and enquiries sent to LuxVision. For questions about your information or to exercise your rights, email contact@luxvision.org.
Website visits
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting the website involves processing technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information, timestamps, and security events. This supports the legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website.
The website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, third-party media embeds, or an enquiry form. Fonts and images are served with the website. The site itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting security features may use technical information or strictly necessary cookies to protect the service.
Email enquiries
Clicking an email link opens your email application. Information is sent only when you send an email. LuxVision receives your email address and whatever you include, such as your name, message, project details, or attachments. Please include only what is needed for your enquiry and avoid sending sensitive personal information.
Information is used to respond, discuss potential work, and manage agreed projects. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract where applicable. Other business correspondence is handled on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and managing professional relationships. Records required by law are processed to meet those legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
Website hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, and email service providers process information needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Applicable transfer protections depend on the provider and service, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where required. You can request information about the safeguards relevant to your correspondence by email. Cloudflare explains its processing in its privacy policy.
How long information is kept
Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or project, maintain relevant business records, and address legal obligations or claims. The appropriate period depends on the purpose, the relationship, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Technical records are subject to the hosting provider’s retention practices. You may ask about the retention of your particular information.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions; reasonable verification may be needed before a request is fulfilled.
You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work. The European Data Protection Board provides a directory of supervisory authorities.
